“What’s to Fear?”

Whats-to-Fear-posterThe Time of Your Life Players present “What’s To Fear?” a new, original one-act, life-affirming musical comedy about a man who decides to retire and then receives an unexpected call from his doctor after a routine physical.

After 40 years on the job Joe finally decides to retire, though he is not sure if he has made the right decision.  Then he gets an unexpected call from his doctor after a routine physical.  How the ensuing events affect Joe, his family and friends is the basis of this new, life-affirming original musical from the Time of Your Life Players, where we discover what is really important in life.

“The Time of Your Life Players will perform  “What’s To Fear?”  beginning Wednesday, October 6th and running every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 2:00 p.m. through November 6th at The Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln, Chicago, Il 60614.

TICKETS: $15.00.  GROUP RATES: $10 per person. Tickets are available at

www.greenhousetheater.org. The theater is handicapped accessible.

In 2004 a group of seniors, age 55 and over, formed the Time of Your Life Players.  “What’s to Fear?” is the seventh original musical that has been presented by the Time of Your Life Players.  Our group of writers, directors actors, singers and musicians is dedicated to educate and entertain from a senior perspective, and to demonstrate that one can lead a creative life at any age.  The cast will be available for a post-show discussion to be led by a geriatrician and gerontologist.
